Novi Sad holds the prestigious title of the European Capital of Culture and is one of the first cities outside the European Union to have won the title.

Mlin Cultural Station

This neighbourhood used to be part of the Great Liman, one of the centres of industrialisation of Novi Sad, where the Danubius (later Mlinpek) pasta factory was located. Workers that lived here with their families left a significant mark in the history of the city, which can be seen in the names of the street and the latter Radnički University.

Mlin Cultural Station is relying on the tradition that has been cherished for three decades by ‘Raspustilište’, which belongs to the former Radnički University, today the Novi Sad Children’s Cultural Centre, and represents the new place for non-formal education of the youngest citizens.

The Mlin Cultural Station represents a platform for promotion of all programmes of the Novi Sad Children’s Cultural Centre, as well as all the activities implemented in cooperation with the ‘Novi Sad – European Capital of Culture’ Foundation.
