Old Crafts for 21st Century

We invite you to the ‘Old Crafts for 21st Century’ artistic-educational workshop for children within the ‘MUSEUMS FOR 10’ programme in the atelier of the Mlin Cultural Station, on Saturday, 15 May.

The workshop, intended for children aged 6-12, was organised two times – from 5 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. and from 7:30 p.m. until 9 p.m. Programme is free of charge, while the application is necessary due to the limited number of participants.

Applications will be open until 13 May until 2 p.m. via the following e-mail address: [email protected]. ’APPLICATION – Museums for 10’ should be your e-mail subject line, while the text must contain the following information: name of the programme, name and surname of a child, age, and a time slot. Applications are open until the above-mentioned time slot, i.e., until the groups reach full capacity.

The number of visitors is limited to ten children per workshop, while only one child can apply in one time slot. However, if a child decides not to attend workshops, we kindly ask you to notify us so that the registered place could be given to another interested child.

Guided tours organised within the exhibition of children’s paintings on the topic of ‘Old Crafts’, which has been implemented in cooperation with the Mlin Cultural Station and Centre for Art Education of Children and Youth of Vojvodina, will be an introduction to the ‘Old Crafts for 21st Century’ programme.

Inspired by the exhibition and different types of old crafts, children, with the presence and professional guidance of mentors, will create different objects, sculptures, in a completely different way, i.e., spatial paintings whose starting point will be some of old crafts presented within the accompanying exhibition.

Organisers kindly ask all participants to adhere to all epidemiological measures – to wear face masks and to keep the distance. Furthermore, we kindly ask to dress your child adequately since liquid colours will be used during workshops.
