’Stereotypes, Prejudice and What About Them’ Workshop


Five interactive workshops will be implemented within the ’Culture from A to Z’ programme in the Mlin Cultural Station. The workshops will deal with topics related to interculturality, development of empathy and tolerance, equality and human rights in a creative way.

Participants will deepen their knowledge of culture and interculturality through creative drama method, play, debate, role-playing, improvisation, mini-research, as well as many interesting methods from the field of applied theatre.

The first in line is the ‘Stereotypes, Prejudice and What About Them’ workshop, which will be held on Saturday, 7 November, starting at 4 p.m. in the Mlin Cultural Station (20 Radnička Street).

Young people aged 15 to 18 can apply. The workshops will be led by Branka Bajić, drama pedagogue and actress, master of applied theatre. Participation is free of charge and it is necessary to register on the phone number +381638809386. Participants will have a chance to be part of the next projects of the Novi Sad Children’s Cultural Centre in May 2021, when young participants from abroad will come as guests.

The organizers ask all visitors to adhere to the prevention measures prescribed due to the current epidemiological situation in order to preserve their health and better enjoy the cultural contents.
