The Exhibition of Paintings and Copyright Comic Books by Children from Serbia

From today, 21 December, the Mlin Cultural Station will be the place where 66th Exhibition of paintings by children and the youth from Serbia on the topic of ‘Her Majesty Light’ and 33rd Exhibition of Copyright Comic Books by the students in Serbia, will be held. The event is implemented by the Centre for Art Education of Children and Youth of Vojvodina.

Due to the pandemic situation, the exhibition will be opened without an audience, but it will be open for the public, adhering to the measure, until 5 January 2021, on working days, from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m.

The exhibition emerged from the previously organised call in the preschool institutions, primary and secondary schools, as well as in private art workshops and ateliers for children in mid-March, when teachers, kindergarten workers/art pedagogues discussed the topic with children during art classes.

Prizes were awarded according to children’s age category, and each category had its I, II or III place. More than 20 children received prizes.

The Centre for Art Education of Children and Youth of Vojvodina was founded in 1954. Until the end of the 80s, the professional exhibitions of both Yugoslav and Vojvodina range had been organised by the Centre, and after that, the exhibitions on republic/international level were organised.
