Solo exhibition of illustrations for children by Maša Pavlović will be open in the gallery of the Mlin Cultural Station on Monday, 7 June, at 12 p.m. The exhibition will be opened until 30 June.
The exhibition presents the work of the artist in the past six years, i.e. from the moment when she found motivation and joy in creating for the youngest, most imaginative, but also the most demanding audience, until today, when she designs and colours the world of children’s imagination with the same enthusiasm. During that time, illustration became her new love and way of expression.
The exhibition presents illustrations of children’s books, front and inside pages of the ‘Neven’ and ‘Mali Neven’ magazines, as well as several personal projects.
Maša Pavlović graduated in 2010 at the Department of Photography of the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad. She illustrates books, posters, magazines and educational publications for children. For several years, she has been a regular contributor to the Novi Sad children’s magazines ‘Neven’ and ‘Mali Neven’, which she signs as the main illustrator. This is her first solo exhibition of illustrations.
