Let’s Breathe Life Into Comics

Come to breathe life into comics together! If you’re a fan of comics or want to discover the ninth art, if you want to meet those of similar interests as you and develop your drawing skills – join us in participating in a collective multimedia programme that encompasses a comics workshop guided by a professional draughtsman, making of scenography and costumes, drama performance and movement, all according to the motifs of your own comics.

The workshops are intended for children aged 9 – 14 and will be held in the Mlin Cultural Station on 17, 20, 21, 24 and 27 May from 4:30 to 6 p.m.

We kindly ask parents to register only the children who can attend all five workshops. If a child decides not to attend workshops after all, please let us know in a timely manner so that the seat can be given to another child.

The workshops are free, the registration is obligatory and lasts until 2 p.m. on 13 May. You can apply via email: [email protected].

’APPLICATION – COMICS’ should be your email subject line, while in the email body text you should write the name of the programme, name and surname of your child and their age. The maximum number of participants is ten, adhering to COVID-19 preventive measures. Applications are open until the maximum number of 10 is reached.

As for what to wear and how to dress, don’t forget that your kid will be working with liquid colours.

The last part of the whole programme (the exhibition and the performance) will be held within the Kaleidoscope of Culture in the Mlin Cultural Station in September.
